Plankton Diversity in Aek Rao River Gunung Tua

The purpose of this study was to determine the index plankton diversity in Aek Rao River, Gunung Tua. research carried out from April May 2022 sampling method used purposive random which consisted 3 observation stations, namely station 1 upstream, 2 for residential areas and densely populated areas. results showed that composition Tua classes phytoplankton, Bacillariophyceae, Chlorophyceae Cyanophyceae, while zooplankton class 4 classes, Mastigophora, Monogononta, Crustacea Ciliophora. highest phytoplankton obtained at sand mining area with a value 1, 39 indicates level is medium category. In found 0.33 indicated included low While dominance 0.43 0.00563, both values ​​indicated there no dominant genus area.
